Ferocity Unleashed: Jallikattu Triumphs at Alanganallur

The renowned Jallikattu event at Alanganallur showcased the traditional bull taming sport with bulls demonstrating their might, freezing tamers. Despite several attempts, the bulls emerged victorious, including ones owned by AIADMK’s C Vijayabhaskar and actor Soori. The final event attracted 465 tamers and 825 bulls.

The traditional bull taming spectacle, Jallikattu, took center stage at Alanganallur, displaying an intense rivalry between tamers and powerful bulls. The age-old sport, synonymous with Pongal celebrations, held the audience in awe as ferocious bulls showcased their prowess.

Despite valiant efforts, many tamers struggled to grasp the bulls, leaving the latter triumphant. Notably, bulls owned by AIADMK's former minister C Vijayabhaskar and actor Soori were unstoppable, earning gold coins for their prowess.

The final event, inaugurated by State Minister P Moorthi, saw participation from 465 tamers and the release of 825 bulls from the 'Vaadi Vaasal', marking a festive and thrilling conclusion to the Pongal season.
