Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu commemorated the 30th death anniversary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder N T Rama Rao. Naidu paid tribute to NTR as a significant figure who championed the self-respect of the Telugu people and left a lasting impact on both cinema and politics.

Recognizing NTR's exceptional leadership, Naidu remarked on social media: 'On the occasion of the 30th death anniversary of the great leader NTR, a man of destiny and a treasure for the poor, I offer my solemn tribute to that great soul.' NTR transformed Andhra Pradesh through noteworthy welfare initiatives such as providing rice at Rs 2 per kg, implementing social security pensions, and offering free power to farmers, among others.

Naidu, who is NTR's son-in-law, participated in the commemorative program at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri, Guntur district, underscoring the continuing influence of NTR's visionary policies.
