Ayodhya: A Symbol of India's Cultural Continuity and Future Soft Power

Ayodhya is a symbol of India's cultural and civilisational continuity. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha highlighted its potential as India's soft power center in a global context. At the Ayodhya Parv 2026 event, leaders emphasized Ayodhya's cultural significance and proposed using it to convey India's ethos worldwide.

Ayodhya has been described as more than just a geographical location; it stands as a symbol of India's enduring cultural and civilisational identity, according to Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed these sentiments during the Ayodhya Parv 2026 hosted at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts.

Sinha suggested that Ayodhya could serve as a center for India's soft power, sharing its rich cultural and ethical values globally, especially during times of international uncertainty. He stressed that Ayodhya is crucial to India's global identity and cultural roots, which are essential for national growth.

Additionally, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari proposed hosting Ayodhya Parv events to celebrate Jaipur's tricentennial, further promoting Ayodhya's cultural heritage. The event included notable figures like RSS leader Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi and former Ayodhya MP Lallu Singh.
