Studiocanal will handle theatrical releases in its territories, including the UK, France, Germany, and more, while Elevation Pictures has acquired Canadian rights. Byrne, fresh from presenting 'Dangerous Animals' at Cannes, will be both directing and writing. He expressed eagerness about the project, highlighting its intense and thrilling nature, supported by Melissa Leo's fearless performance.

Jed Benedict of Sixth Dimension praised the screenplay's nostalgic nod to early 2000s serial killer thrillers. He emphasized the film's meticulously crafted characters and storyline.
