On his first day as the Governor of Maharashtra, CP Radhakrishnan paid homage to historical figures Shivaji Maharaj, Lokmanya Tilak, and Annabhau Sathe by offering floral tributes at the Vidhan Bhavan complex on August 1.
The newly appointed Governor honored Lokmanya Tilak on his death anniversary and garlanded Annabhau Sathe's portrait in celebration of his birth anniversary. Key dignitaries, including Speaker Rahul Narwekar and Legislature Secretary Jitendra Bhole, attended the event.
CP Radhakrishnan was sworn in as the 21st Governor of Maharashtra the previous day at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya administered the oath of office. The ceremony featured the National Anthem, the State Song, and the reading of the Warrant of Appointment by Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik.
