SDRF Searches for Body of Murdered Flipkart Delivery Agent in Lucknow

A team of SDRF is conducting a search operation in Lucknow to recover the body of a murdered Flipkart delivery agent, Bharat Kumar, who was killed for an iPhone. The operation faces challenges due to the swift canal flow. Police have detained a suspect.

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is carrying out a search operation to locate the body of Bharat Kumar, a Flipkart delivery agent murdered for an iPhone in Lucknow.

According to SDRF Sub-Inspector Kumar Saurav Singh, divers face challenges due to the swift canal flow, complicating the recovery efforts. 'We have been here since yesterday. A long search is underway because the body drowned long ago. The swift flow makes it very difficult to get down into the canal,' Singh told ANI.

Bharat Kumar's brother, Prem Kumar, demands justice, stating that Bharat was killed after asking a customer to pay for a delivered product. The suspect, now in police custody, allegedly dumped the body in Indira Nagar canal. DCP East Shashank Singh confirmed that the incident came to light after an FIR was lodged. Surveillance data led to the detention of the suspect, who confessed to the crime during interrogation. Efforts to locate the body continue.
