Three persons died, 12 injured in road accident on NH 37

Three persons died and 12 were injured in a road accident on National Highway 37 involving a minibus and a truck in Goalpara district in lower Assam on Friday, police said. At Dhanubhanga, under Dhupdhara police station, a truck hit the minibus from behind killing the three passengers in the bus besides injuring 12 this evening, police said.

Four of the seriously wounded were sent to Gauhati Medical College Hospital, while the rest were admitted to local hospitals, police added.
