Union Minister Giriraj Singh has accused Congress and RJD members of vandalizing a temple and its idol in Sanhaula, Bhagalpur, at 5 a.m. on Sunday, alleging it was an attempt to incite riots. Speaking to ANI, Singh claimed the real culprits behind the incident must be apprehended as he attributes responsibility to the RJD and Congress.
The allegations come amidst Singh's 'Hindu Swabhiman Yatra' in Bihar, which he claims has support from Hindus in diverse political parties including JD(U), RJD, Communist, Congress, and BJP. Singh dismissed criticism as he faced accusations from JD(U) leader Khalid Anwar of promoting an extremist ideology detrimental to Bihar's governance.
Despite being labeled divisive, Giriraj Singh remains defiant, stating his unyielding commitment to his cause. As tensions rise, JD(U) representatives have distanced themselves from Singh's assertions, emphasizing Bihar as a region of brotherhood. In a separate claim, Singh also accused leaders of the INDIA bloc of engaging in Muslim appeasement.
