Renewable energy giant Avaada Group has announced a substantial investment plan of Rs 50,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh, aiming to bolster its business through various projects in the state over the next three to five years.
During the MP Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, Chairman Vineet Mittal revealed that the group will focus on solar, wind, and battery projects, further enhanced by secured contracts from major energy players like SECI, NTPC, NHPC, and SJVN. Mittal praised the state's favorable policy environment for attracting investment and urged other private sectors to consider Madhya Pradesh for their ventures, particularly in renewable energy.
Since 2010, Avaada Group has been actively investing in the state and plans to concentrate its efforts in regions like Malwa, Bundelkhand, and Bhind. The group's long-term objective is to achieve 11 GWp of renewable capacity by 2026, underscoring its prominent role in the clean energy transition.
