Dharan Infra EPC Ltd announced on Wednesday it has reached a one-time settlement deal with the Central Bank of India to resolve its outstanding financial issues. The agreement, valued at Rs. 4.30 crore, is part of the company's strategic restructuring efforts, according to an official statement.
The settlement, signed on July 28, marks a significant step in the company's plans to stabilize its financial footing. Initially, Dharan Infra made a payment of Rs 43 lakh, which accounts for 10 percent of the amount owed, with the rest to be settled in three installments by January 31, 2026.
Despite the structured plan, some loans are still categorized as defaults, but the company assured these are backed by collateral worth almost twice the due principal, reducing potential risks.
