On Wednesday, the temple witnessed high footfall as worshippers lined up to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva and Rama, among other deities. Despite moderate rainfall marking the start of Margazhi, the India Meteorological Department forecasts cloudy weather for the rest of the week, with possible light rain on December 18 and 22.
