The Indian government's decision to limit the rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices to 25% for domestic carriers is being hailed as a crucial move to stabilize the aviation industry.
On Wednesday, Civil Aviation Ministry Joint Secretary Asangba Chuba Ao emphasized that the measure provides essential relief amid volatile global energy markets caused by tensions in West Asia, notably in the Middle East.
The partial price adjustment will help local airlines manage operational expenses, which see fuel as a significant cost factor, thus averting a broader industry crisis.
