The BJP has refuted these allegations, branding them as "false" and "politically motivated."

The party demands that Prasad retract his statements and issue a public apology on all media platforms where the allegations were made. Failure to comply could result in further legal repercussions. The controversy unfolds ahead of the historic 2026 Tamil Nadu elections, where actor-politician Vijay's party secured a notable victory.
