Dhanuka Agritech Ltd on Tuesday reported a 29.5 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 97.77 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal on higher sales.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 75.50 crore in the year-ago quarter, according to a regulatory filing.

Total income for the January-March quarter rose 11.18 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 503.86 crore from 453.17 crore, while expenses remained elevated at Rs 375.55 crore from Rs 351.51 crore during the period under review.

For the full 2025-26 fiscal, net profit declined by 3.61 per cent to Rs 287.23 crore from Rs 296.96 crore in the preceding financial year, on lower sales.

Total income declined to Rs 2,062.80 crore from Rs 2,071.25 crore in the said period.

Dhanuka Agritech Chairman M K Dhanuka said the company delivered healthy growth during the quarter, supported by improved demand across key markets and the strength of our product portfolio.

While the monsoon outlook this year remains below normal, the agriculture sector continues to show resilience supported by better farm practices, technology adoption and favourable crop economics in several regions, he said.

''We remain focused on delivering effective crop protection solutions and strengthening our presence ahead of the upcoming Kharif season,'' Dhanuka added.

The board has approved a buyback of up to 5,00,000 equity shares, representing 1.11 per cent of the total paid-up capital.

The buyback will be executed at a maximum price of Rs 1,400 per share, taking the total size to Rs 70 crore.
