Manipal Hospitals Launches 24/7 Ambulance Service in Green Glen Layout
Manipal Hospital Sarjapur Road recently inaugurated its Manipal Ambulance Response Services (MARS), a 24/7 ambulance service, at Green Glen Layout, Mahadevapura Assembly Constituency. The initiative aims to provide immediate medical assistance to residents in the area. The event saw participation from community members and local political figures who praised the healthcare accessibility efforts.
Manipal Hospital Sarjapur Road expanded its reach by launching the Manipal Ambulance Response Services (MARS) - a 24/7 ambulance service - at Green Glen Layout, Mahadevapura Assembly Constituency, on August 3, 2024. The service aims to deliver immediate medical aid to residents in 134 apartments and surrounding Bellanduru areas.
The ambulance, imbued with advanced technology, was unveiled in partnership with the Green Glen Residents Association (GGRA). Prominent attendees included Dr. Niharika, Head of Emergency Services at Manipal Hospital Sarjapur Road, and Smt. Manjula Aravinda Limbavali, MLA of Mahadevapura Constituency. A special puja was performed to commemorate the launch.
During the event, MLA Smt. Manjula Aravinda Limbavali praised the initiative, emphasizing its significance for community healthcare. She highlighted that the new service embodies a notable stride towards improving healthcare access for Bellanduru residents. Dr. Suja V., Director of Manipal Hospital Sarjapur Road, reiterated the hospital’s dedication to making healthcare reachable and cited the MARS ambulance launch as pivotal in fortifying their commitment to timely medical care.
