In an extraordinary medical achievement, Amina, a resident of Ovari village, delivered quadruplets at Teerthanker Mahaveer University Hospital. The severe yet successful delivery unfolded over five days, marking a first for the institution.
Led by Dr Shubhra Agrawal, the team meticulously monitored Amina since her third month, after initial ultrasounds detected four fetuses. Despite the high-risk label, the family decided against fetal reduction, trusting the medical staff.
All four newborns, while stable, are under ventilator support as a safeguard. Amina and her husband, Mohammad Alim, expressed gratitude to the medical team for their expert care throughout the challenging process.
