In his recent visit to BMW World in Munich, Germany, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, highlighted the prowess of Indian engineering showcased by TVS's 450 cc motorcycle. Developed alongside BMW, the vehicle stood as a testament to Indian talent in collaboration with global partners, which he applauded.
However, Gandhi, through a statement by the Congress party, voiced concerns about India's declining manufacturing sector, criticizing the Central government for hampering economic growth. Asserting that manufacturing holds the key to a strong economy, the Congress emphasized the urgent need for robust ecosystems and job creation at scale.
Gandhi's five-day visit to Germany aims to strengthen Congress's international outreach, especially among the Indian diaspora. Despite criticism from BJP regarding his travel priorities, his interactions with the Indian Overseas Congress and European IOC leaders focus on party ideologies and pressing NRI issues, aiming for strategic ideological dissemination.
