In a decisive defense of Tehran's diplomatic strategy, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the necessity of engaging in constructive dialogue with the United States. Addressing a gathering titled 'Iranian Narrators' organized by executive agencies, Pezeshkian underscored that negotiations conducted with dignity are crucial for safeguarding Iran's national interests.
Rejecting calls for disengagement, Pezeshkian argued that refusing dialogue is illogical. He stressed that Iran is committed to defending its national rights, backed by its people, while pursuing logical and dignified diplomatic engagement. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining national unity amid increasing regional tensions.
Pezeshkian accused adversaries of attempting to destabilize Iran and criticized the international response to regional conflicts, particularly in Gaza. He reaffirmed Iran's dedication to negotiations while protecting national interests. However, diplomatic efforts remain strained as U.S. President Donald Trump issued warnings amid deadlocked negotiations over key issues like uranium stockpiles and sanctions relief.
