Yamashita was ahead by six ‌shots after the third round and ​carded a 4-under-par 66 Sunday to finish at 23-under 257 for the week at Royal Mayfair Golf Club. Yuri Yoshida of Japan was a distant second at 14 under par after a 69.

Rangers recall C Logan O'Hoppe, DFA OF Jarred Kelenic

The Texas Rangers recalled catcher Logan O'Hoppe from Triple-A Round Rock prior to their home game Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels in Arlington, Texas. O'Hoppe, who was not in the starting lineup for the series finale, is set to make his Rangers debut after he was acquired before the trade deadline from the Angels. He joins Texas after hitting .209 across 75 games for Los Angeles this season, with four home runs and 23 RBIs.

Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty suffers apparent right leg injury in practice

Las Vegas running back Ashton Jeanty suffered a lower body injury and had to be helped from the field during a Raiders practice Sunday in Henderson, Nev. Jeanty dove for an attempted reception on a pass route and fell awkwardly ‌on the indoor turf surface. Jeanty stayed down before being helped from the field by trainers and medical personnel.

Motor racing-Kirkwood wins incident-filled Freedom 250 in Washington

American Kyle Kirkwood gave the home crowd a victory to remember as the Andretti Global driver won the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix on Sunday, surviving six caution periods on the streets of Washington to cut into championship leader Alex Palou's advantage. Denmark's Christian Lundgaard, driving for Arrow McLaren, finished second, while Australian Will Power, Kirkwood's Andretti Global teammate, took third.

MLB roundup: Dylan Cease flirts with no-hitter, Blue Jays hold off Yanks
