Injuries reported after coach carrying school children crashes in Netherlands

​Multiple people ​were injured in ‌a coach ​crash in the east of the ‌Netherlands early on Monday, Dutch police said. The coach was carrying around 50 ‌people including a large number of ‌school children, a police spokesman said, when it crashed near the town of ⁠Wezep, ​some ⁠100 km (62 miles) east of Amsterdam around ⁠4.00 a.m. (0200 GMT) due to a ​collision with a minivan.

The exact number ⁠of people injured in the accident , ⁠was unknown, ​but no deaths were reported. Police could not specify ⁠the nationality of the passengers.

The A28 ⁠highway ⁠was closed in both directions following the accident.
