Soccer-Trabzonspor set to sign Fabinho on free transfer

Fabinho ​is set ​to link ‌up with ​ex-Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah at ‌Trabzonspor after the Turkish Super Lig side posted a photo ‌of the 32-year-old Brazilian wearing ‌their kit onboard a private jet. "A familiar face is waiting for ⁠me ​in ⁠Trabzon" said Fabinho in the Trabzonspor ⁠social media post.

Fabinho joined Saudi ​Arabia's Al Ittihad in 2023 ⁠after his five-year stint at ⁠Liverpool ​and is now a free agent. Egyptian forward Salah ⁠also joined Trabzonspor as a free ⁠agent ⁠earlier this month.
