US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall Street opens lower as high-stakes Iran, inflation tests loom

Wall ​Street's ​main ‌indexes opened lower on ​Monday as investors ‌weighed the U.S. pledge of an "economic D-Day" against Iran while ‌awaiting AI giant ‌Nvidia's quarterly results and a closely watched inflation report ⁠later ​this ⁠week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average ⁠fell 15.1 points, or 0.03%, ​to 53,261.95 at the open. ⁠The S&P 500 fell ⁠11.0 points, ​or 0.14%, to 7,663.38, while the ⁠Nasdaq Composite dropped 115.1 points, ⁠or ⁠0.44%, to 26,065.32.
