Mudslide hits Tibet's Gyirong, some possibly missing, Xinhua reports

​A ‌mudslide struck ​Gyirong county in ‌Tibet on Wednesday, with some people ‌believed to be ‌missing, Chinese state news agency Xinhua ⁠reported.

Roads, ​communications ⁠and power in ⁠the county, in ​the Shigatse region near ⁠the Nepal border, ⁠were ​cut off, Xinhua said without ⁠providing further details.
