Sweden to sign €4.3 billion deal for four Naval Group frigates

​Sweden ‌will pay €4.3 billion ($5.01 ​billion) for ‌four frigates made by France's Naval Group, French ‌President Emmanuel Macron's ‌office said on Wednesday.

Sweden will sign ⁠a ​contract ⁠to buy the four ⁠frigates on August 31 in ​Stockholm. Macron will ⁠attend the ceremony.

The first ⁠warship ​is due to be ⁠delivered in 2030. ($1 = 0.8581 ⁠euros)
