Guinea-Bissau sees low turnout for referendum on presidential powers

Guinea-Bissau saw few turn out to ​vote on Sunday in a referendum ​on a proposed new constitution ‌that would ​expand the power of the presidency and shrink the size of the parliament ahead of a presidential election scheduled ‌for December.

The West African nation is currently led by military officers who seized power in a coup last year.
