US bond yields reflect 'flat to down' inflation expectations, stronger growth, Bessent says

U.S. Treasury ​Secretary Scott ‌Bessent said on Tuesday that U.S. bond yields ‌are showing ‌that inflation expectations are "flat to down" and ⁠reflect ​accelerating ⁠U.S. growth.

Bessent made ⁠the comments at ​an event on the ⁠sidelines of the ⁠U.S.-hosted ​Group of 20 finance ⁠leaders in Asheville, North Carolina.
