US official says three credit reporting agencies have been overcharging for too long
U.S. Director of Federal Housing Bill Pulte said on Thursday credit reporting agencies Equifax, Experian and TransUnion have been overcharging Americans for a long period of time.
"Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion have been overcharging Americans for far too long. This will end soon. We are seriously considering bi-merge, and stronger solutions (SAFER and SOUNDER)," he wrote in a post on X.
