US says it has been talking to Russia after plague lab worker's death

‌The United ​States ‌has been in active communication with ‌Moscow, including ‌as recently as Thursday ⁠morning, ​following ⁠the death of ⁠a lab ​worker at a plague ⁠research facility ⁠in ​Siberia, a ⁠State Department ⁠official said.
