Athletics-Olympic champion Jepchirchir provisionally suspended by AIU over EPO finding

​Marathon ​and former ‌Olympic champion ​Peres Jepchirchir of ‌Kenya has been provisionally suspended after an ‌out-of-competition sample collected in ‌Kenya before her Sydney Marathon victory returned ⁠an ​adverse ⁠analytical finding for EPO, ⁠the Athletics Integrity Unit ​said on Friday.

The 33-year-old, ⁠a former half-marathon ⁠world ​record holder, is also a ⁠four-time World Marathon Majors ⁠winner.
