German government says Audi CEO's appearance at Trump's rally is 'business decision'

​The ‌German government ​on Monday said ‌Audi CEO Gernot Doellner's appearance alongside U.S. President ‌Donald Trump at ‌a campaign rally was a ⁠business decision.

"It ​is ⁠a business decision regarding ⁠where the company invests ​and, in this ⁠case, where a ⁠company's ​CEO appears. I have no ⁠further comment," deputy government ⁠spokesperson ⁠Sebastian Hille said.
