OFFICIAL CORRECTION-Yemen's Houthis say they targeted US merchant vessel -statement

Yemen's Houthis on Wednesday said their naval forces carried out an operation targeting a U.S. merchant vessel.

They targeted the "American merchant ship KOI (corrects from Cole) ... with several appropriate naval missiles," the Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said in a statement.
