US Condemns New Chinese Sanctions on Defense Firms

The White House has announced its opposition to new sanctions imposed by China on US defense companies and a former lawmaker, Jake Sullivan stated. The sanctions targeted 12 defense companies and former lawmaker Mike Gallagher.

The United States opposes new Chinese sanctions on defense companies and a former lawmaker, the White House said Wednesday.

"We oppose all of those sanctions, full stop," said Jake Sullivan, the National Security Adviser, told reporters at the White House, when asked about new sanctions on 12 defense companies and their executives as well as former lawmaker Mike Gallagher.
