Congress leader Sachin Pilot has called on the central government to address the NEET paper leak scandal, stating that those in power must be pressured to break their silence and take action. He made these remarks while speaking after the newly-appointed state president of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), Vinod Jakhar, assumed his position.
Pilot emphasized the urgency of the matter and urged the public to collectively demand answers from the Centre. He argued that the NEET paper leak is a heinous crime and those responsible must be apprehended.
Pilot also highlighted that senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had raised the issue in Parliament, but the Centre has remained unresponsive. He concluded by stressing the difficulty of securing a job through competitive exams in India and called for accountability and punishment for the culprits involved in the scandal.
