Five were wounded in the operation, according to a U.S. military official, while two others sustained injuries from falls. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, stated that "All personnel are in stable condition."
The raid, which took place on Thursday, resulted in the deaths of 15 people. The U.S. military's Central Command claimed the militants were armed with numerous weapons, grenades, and explosive suicide belts. The operation occurred in Iraq's Anbar Desert, and Iraqi forces later confirmed the involvement but did not specify U.S. participation.
