Arunachal Pradesh's Governor, Lt Gen K T Parnaik (Retd), has advocated for a significant focus on empathy, cultural sensitivity, and emotional intelligence in civil servants' training. The governor addressed these points during a meeting with Sriram Taranikanti, Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), at Raj Bhavan.

Governor Parnaik highlighted the importance of immersing officer trainees in Arunachal Pradesh, aiming to enrich their comprehension of national security, development hurdles, and regional desires. He recommended integrating inter-agency coordination modules, especially for those assigned to delicate or strategically crucial sectors.

Underlining the need for transformative leadership, particularly in aspirational districts, Parnaik urged training programs to foster administrators dedicated to ensuring governmental benefits reach all citizens. He also emphasized the significance of emotional resilience and moral courage in addressing governance complexities.
