Delhi High Court Chief Justice Inaugurates Creche at Patiala House

On Wednesday, the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, officially opened a creche in the family court building at the Patiala House district courts complex.

The creche is designed to support mothers who work as lawyers or court staff, emphasizing the commitment of the judicial authorities to improving work-life balance. Applause went to Principal District and Sessions Judge Virender Kumar Bansal and the New Delhi Bar Association for their efforts in setting up this facility.

Key issues such as inadequate parking and poor facilities for lawyers were highlighted by the association's secretary, Tarun Rana. Meanwhile, association president Nagendra Kumar cited the need for better digital infrastructure and jurisdictional enhancements. The Chief Justice pledged to address these concerns in the coming months.
