Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of CRPF Personnel in Udhampur
Three CRPF personnel were killed and 15 injured in a vehicle accident in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. The vehicle, carrying 23 personnel, skidded off the road and rolled into a nallah. Both Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh have expressed grief and ensured assistance.

In a tragic incident, three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel lost their lives and 15 others sustained injuries when their vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a nallah in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district on Thursday. Officials reported the mishap occurred around 10:30 am.
The personnel were returning from an operation in a bunker vehicle, part of the 187 battalion, when the accident took place. While two personnel died instantly, another succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh have both expressed their condolences.
Efforts are underway to ensure the best possible care for the injured. Rescue measures have been activated with local residents assisting in the efforts. Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai is closely monitoring the situation to provide all necessary help and ensure swift action.
