Suspended IAS Officer Denied Bail in Corruption Case

Following extensive arguments from both the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and the defense, the court declined Choubey's request for bail. Choubey's lawyer, Shankar Banerjee, announced plans to appeal the decision in the Jharkhand High Court.
