Police Busts Rs 17 Lakh Hawala Racket in Beed
Police in Beed, Maharashtra, have busted a hawala racket, seizing Rs 17 lakh in cash. Sub-divisional police officer Pooja Pawar led the operation, detaining one person. The hawala network was reportedly active in the Masarat Nagar area. An offence registration process is ongoing.

In a major crackdown on illegal financial practices, Beed police on Tuesday revealed the busting of a hawala racket, recovering Rs 17 lakh in cash.
Led by Sub-divisional police officer Pooja Pawar, the operation resulted in the detention of an individual involved in the clandestine operations.
The racket, centered in an apartment in Masarat Nagar, was allegedly facilitating monetary transactions outside the official banking channels. Authorities are currently processing a formal offence registration.
