Tragedy in Peshawar: Suicide Attack Strikes Federal Constabulary

A suicide attack targeting the Federal Constabulary headquarters in Peshawar, Pakistan, has resulted in the death of at least three security personnel, according to a senior police official. In addition, two others were wounded in the attack carried out on Monday.
City Police Chief Mian Saeed disclosed that three suicide bombers attempted to breach the premises, resulting in their own demise following a counterfire effort by the paramilitary personnel. One detonated at the main gate, while the other two were neutralized inside.
Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed stated that the explosions took place at two key locations within the base, triggering panic in surrounding areas and prompting a swift emergency response. Chief Minister Sohail Afridi condemned the attack and reaffirmed support for law enforcement.
