In a bold move, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has urged citizens to identify 'anti-constitutional Manuwadis' who prioritize the 'Manusmriti' over the Indian Constitution. Speaking at the 'Constitution Day Celebration – 2025,' Siddaramaiah emphasized the dangers of an 'unwritten Manusmriti' that existed before Dr. B R Ambedkar's transformative Constitution.

The Chief Minister voiced his criticism against the ancient text's rules, which he deemed anti-human and anti-equality, underscoring why Manuwadis oppose the Constitution. By advocating for equality and against historical biases, Siddaramaiah aligns with Ambedkar's vision for a just society.

He underscored his administration's efforts to bolster economic power among lower castes through 'Bhagya' schemes, designed to eradicate inequality. Highlighting the unfulfilled constitutional promises of freedom, equality, and fraternity, Siddaramaiah stressed the importance of economic empowerment for marginalized communities to weaken caste hierarchies.
