In a significant breakthrough, Dr. Shaheen Shahid, connected to the 'white-collar terror module' case, has been arrested for planning to recruit women for the November 10 Delhi blast. Faridabad police sources confirmed the arrest and the plot details.

Shahid, a former pharmacologist at Al-Falah University, was escorted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to the university campus for further investigation. During questioning, she admitted her plans to involve women in the terror mission. The NIA discovered Rs 18.5 lakh in cash, gold biscuits, and foreign currency in her hostel room.

The investigation named Dr. Muzammil and Dr. Adil Ahmad as other suspects. Shahid's past four-year teaching stint in Saudi Arabia raised more suspicions. The NIA scrutinized her connections and movements, further strengthening the case against her for terror-related activities at the university.
