Maharashtra Cyber has formally issued a wanted notice for Devender Satyanarayan Saini, a Rajasthan native, in relation to an unprecedented Rs 58 crore digital fraud case, police officials announced on Friday.
Identified from Ajmer, Saini is accused of orchestrating the largest digital heist in India, targeting a 72-year-old man. The Nodal Cyber police station is actively investigating the case.
Cybercriminals reportedly exploited numerous mule accounts and intermediary channels to launder substantial sums from victims, as revealed by Maharashtra Cyber. Officials have disseminated Saini's photos, calling on the public to provide any actionable information to aid in his arrest, ensuring the confidentiality of informants and offering rewards for valuable leads.
