Family Tragedy as Man With Mental Illness Fatally Assaulted

In a tragic incident in Mynagapally Society Mukku near Sasthamkotta, a 32-year-old man undergoing mental health treatment reportedly died following an assault by his family members.

The police have identified the deceased as Santhosh Kumar. His father, Ramakrishnan, and elder brother, Sanal, have been detained in connection with the incident.

The violence erupted over a domestic dispute concerning food, culminating in Santhosh suffering severe injuries. Authorities reported that swift medical attention could have altered the outcome, but unfortunately, Santhosh was left without aid, leading to his untimely death.
