In a separate development, a police officer and two constables were suspended after being seen celebrating the birthday of Ayan Ahmed, the prime accused in the case. Ahmed, who has been arrested, allegedly used a rented flat to exploit his victims, details emerged as investigations progressed.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) is closely following the investigation, participating via video conference, and has instructed local police to keep them updated. So far, arrests include eight individuals, while forensic reports are awaited on devices suspected of containing further incriminating evidence.
