In a significant escalation of tensions, Israel has issued new evacuation orders for residents in southern Lebanon. The orders target seven towns beyond the so-called buffer zone, where Israeli troops have remained active despite a stated ceasefire.
The Israeli military accuses Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire agreement, prompting the evacuation as a security measure. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed the importance of Israel's security, aligning actions with agreements made with the U.S. and Lebanon.
