In Thiruvananthapuram, BJP councillors staged a protest at the Kerala Water Authority's office, bringing attention to the city's ongoing water crisis.
During the protest, councillors, including women, entered the office with party flags and chanted slogans, effectively laying siege to the premises. They submitted their demands to the Managing Director, urging for the restoration of normal water supply in the affected regions.
The demonstration followed a heated council meeting and continues amid complaints from residents experiencing a total water supply disruption. The BJP points fingers at the ruling LDF government and the KWA, citing their failure to address the inadequate supply of water in the state capital.
