Two workshops in Delhi's Farash Khana area, suspected of producing and distributing counterfeit industrial bearings, were exposed by authorities, an official reported on Monday.
The police seized 5,067 fake bearings, several stamping and engraving machines, and substantial amounts of raw printing and packaging materials during raids at Meer Madari Gali, leading to the arrests of two suspects.
According to reports, the operation followed specific tips received on May 16 concerning illegal activities. Investigations revealed the workshops engaged in engraving false trademarks on imported bearings, selling them as genuine branded products. The arrested individuals, Amir Khan and Mohammad Anas, face legal charges as the probe continues to uncover the larger network involved.
