Delhi commences a Special Intensive Revision of its voter list with booth-level officers conducting door-to-door visits starting June 30. This aims to ensure only eligible voters remain on the list, with political parties participating through booth-level agents. The revision will culminate in the publication of the final electoral roll on October 7.

Delhi is set to undergo a meticulous update of its voter list through a Special Intensive Revision starting June 30, led by booth-level officers (BLOs). Chief Electoral Officer Ashok Kumar highlighted the initiative's transparency, stating that all processes will be shared on the CEO office's website.

A comprehensive training of booth-level officers will occur from June 20 to June 29 before the fieldwork begins. Approximately 25,000 personnel, including 13,000 BLOs, will participate, ensuring no eligible voter is omitted while removing those categorized as absent, shifted, dead, duplicate, or foreign. Political parties are integrated into the process through appointed booth-level agents who will work alongside BLOs.

Notably, document proof will not be required for initial form submissions, aiming to simplify voter participation. This initiative will cover all eligible voters as of October 1, with the door-to-door exercise concluding by July 29 and the draft roll published on August 5. Any discrepancies found during the process will be addressed by issuing notices to voters, who can contest decisions all the way up to the CEO's office if necessary.
