Gautam Kumar Dak, a minister in Rajasthan, has been charged with verbally abusing and threatening police officers in a public setting. These allegations emerged after an audio recording reportedly featuring Dak was shared online, prompting police action.

The audio led to a First Information Report (FIR) being filed under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which address government obstruction, intimidation, and use of force. The incident reportedly occurred when Dungla police received a call from Dak, summoning the station head and two constables for a meeting.

According to the FIR, the minister became aggressive towards the constables, using offensive language and attempting physical confrontation, further threatening them by alluding to a previous transfer incident linked to constable Laxminarayan. The situation reportedly stemmed from an inquiry involving an acquaintance of Dak.

In a subsequent video statement, Dak denied the claims, distancing himself from the audio clip, which he argues falsely implicates him.
